Each year, Mike Farish, owner of Design Motive and longstanding customer of igroup, rises to the challenge of raising money for charity. This year, Mike has chosen Le Cure 2018 which is raising funds to support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
igroup, one of the UK’s most experienced Microsoft Gold Partners, specialising in Azure and SharePoint, has smashed their proposed growth targets set at the end of last year. The team at igroup have worked hard this year to ensure ambitious goals are met, focusing on improving customer care which has increased by 14.5% so far this year and building new business which has exceeded budget by 8.1% turnover year to date.
The team at igroup ventured out to Manchester in good spirits for the mid-year outing last Friday after work. Meeting up at the hotel for an overnight stay, they gathered in the bar for a warm-up drink with Portugal vs Spain World Cup game providing an entertaining atmosphere.
At the beginning of this year, the business rolled out a revised portfolio of services which has been a great success. Our services were split in two-‘Professional Services’ and ‘Managed Services’, distinguishing between ongoing managed services-hosting and support, and professional services-a structured project with a clear goal in mind, such as migrations and software upgrades, moving hosting providers, increasing or decreasing IT infrastructure.
igroup have added two more additions to their employee benefits package in a continuing trend to build on the already established positive company culture. The new additions include ‘private healthcare’ from Vitality Health and ‘death-in-service’ from Ellipse.
igroup is proud to be taking part in the ‘Pump Centre Conference & Exhibition’ at the Telford International Centre on the 3rd May.
Steve Rastall, Managing Director of igroup, has recently become a member of the prestigious Institute of Directors (IOD).
Sadly, on the 7th April Moria Rastall, a fondly remembered member of the igroup team, passed away. Moria helped in the early years of igroup’s history as our company secretary, retiring in 2008. She was a positive and bubbly personality to be around and our condolences go out her friends and family.
Last weekend saw the third of the BTRDA Rally Series in which Jack Leese, from igroup’s marketing team, took part in. The event took place in mid-Wales at the picturesque Royal Welsh Showground and was well attended.
