As part of their programme of community outreach work, the management team from igroup Ltd., one of the UK’s largest Microsoft specialists have helped to support...
igroup is not going to let the Coronavirus stop them travelling between the Cheshire office in the U.K. and our drop in office in Quinta Do Lago, Portugal.
In order to raise our target of £1,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, the team are travelling 2950 Km by either cycling, running, swimming or walking and then recording the data via our igroup workout group on Strava.
Alder Hey children’s hospital is an organisation with personal importance to some team members and a long-term valued client. It provides world- class care benefitting children and young people across the UK and the world. Without donations, many of the outstanding facilities and innovations to help patients and families simply could not have been provided.
Stage one of the journey is between Cheshire and London and covers a distance of 314Km. After travelling a further 462 Km stage two will be completed, and we will arrive in Paris. Stage three covers 584Km between Paris and Bordeaux. Stage four is over 690 Km and sees us arriving in Madrid. We then travel just over 600Km to arrive in Portugal’s capital before completing the final 270Km to arrive in our office in Quinta Do Lago.
Steve Rastall MD of igroup commented, “It is a great idea from the team and we hope to cover the distance in the next 2 months and kindly ask if people can support us on the JustGiving page, every few pounds really makes a difference.”
