Last Saturday, the igroup team hit the high ropes to participate in some forest adventures at Delamere.
Despite the torrential rain, the group soon got in touch with their inner Tarzan. The treetop courses were jam-packed with a range of super-fun obstacles. Some were physically challenging, while others were more of a mental challenge. Some tested our strength and agility; others tested our willpower and bravery!
The bridges swayed, shook and wobbled, requiring good concentration and balance. Despite being forced in places to take a ‘no-hands’ approach, the team all made it across in one piece! The most challenging obstacle, the scary stirrups proved a true test of our mental and physical ability.
Our favourite obstacle was the Tarzan Swing, requiring a leap of faith before landing in the cargo net. The team competed to see who could provide the most impressive Tarzan holler.
A fun finale was provided by the thrilling zip wires with igroup’s MD Steve Rastall managing the perfect running landing.
Garry Forsyth, Head of Technical commented, “Go Ape provided a great opportunity to gel with the new igroup members and to spend some time with them in a non-work environment.”
