At the start of the academic year, igroup enrolled Jack Leese, who has been with us since the age of 16, onto a digital marketing apprenticeship and he is proving to be a great asset to the business.
Jack started at Manchester University in September to help him broaden his knowledge and skills in this rapidly growing sector.
With an apprenticeship, we have the flexibility to ensure we meet our current skills requirements whilst building relevant skills for the future. We want to take full advantage of exploring new technologies and fields as well as constantly improving and innovating as a business.
By recruiting and training apprentices, we can develop people in a way that promotes the specific skills required by our business and industry, therefore investing in the future of our employees and business.
Degree apprentices are motivated, engaged, productive, achieving academically and energising colleagues across the business.
Jack Leese, Marketing Coordinator commented, “The degree apprenticeship is a great opportunity to allow me to broaden my marketing skills which adds value to the business whilst allowing me to earn a wage.”
