Each year, the team at igroup are given the opportunity to nominate a local charity to support at Christmas as part of igroup’s community outreach programme.
The team at igroup ventured out to Manchester in good spirits for the mid-year outing last Friday after work. Meeting up at the hotel for an overnight stay, they gathered in the bar for a warm-up drink with Portugal vs Spain World Cup game providing an entertaining atmosphere.
Everyone was treated to a meal at Gaucho, a lavish Argentine steak and wine restaurant. The venue is a set inside an old Methodist church with an open kitchen and fantastic atmosphere. The dining experience is something to be savoured starting with an introduction to the steaks available described by the knowledgeable staff.
Sat in the private dining area, surrounded by fine wines, everyone indulged in the food, catching up, sharing stories and good wine. Finishing with some Irish coffee’s, the team meandered on to another venue and finished the night off back at the hotel bar with a nightcap and enjoyable conversation until the wee hours for the night owls in the group.
Steve Rastall, Managing Director of igroup said: “events like this go a long way to strengthening the team spirit at igroup which not only creates a great working atmosphere but also boosts productivity.”
