Jack Leese Impresses as the Highest place Novice

The season for the IG CloudOps Honda Type R Trophy driver has gotten off to a strong start with Jack Leese currently placed 6th and the highest placed novice.

The first two rounds were at Silverstone. Having qualified 9th Jack drove two impressive races to achieve 6th place in the first race followed by 5th place.

The Tegiwa Type-R trophy championships first rounds saw Adam Shepherd and Lee Deegan sharing the lead.

The following two rounds were at Croft. Jack’s qualifying round was much stronger, with him achieving 5th place and put him right in the heart of the action. He then went on to achieve 6th place in round three. The fourth round was looking really promising until mid-way through the race when Jack and Aaron Sharp made contact resulting in them both ending up on the grass. Jack recovered well and battled through to 8th place.
