IG CloudOps Hosts Clients at Bedford Autodrome

As a thank you for their business, IG CloudOps put on a track day at Bedford Autodrome for three of its most valued clients, Steve Boother from Autoscribe, Tom Gullen from Scirra and Dan Frost from Adaptive Web.

Bedford Autodrome was the venue of choice because it was designed for the enjoyment of high-performance road cars. As well as an excellently designed and challenging layout, it also has lots of runoff areas making it one of the safest track day circuits in the country.

There were two coaches on the day, Jack Leese a semi-professional ARDS driver coach and Rob Wilson who has worked with many of the F1 grid using his knowledge and driving experience to help them shave vital seconds off their lap times.

Each customer had the chance to drive with Rob and Jack whilst also experiencing a few laps being driven around by both coaches. The customers also received lap times so there was a nice level of competitiveness within the group! One of our customers competes in track racing so he especially found the tips from Rob Wilson useful.

The day was a great opportunity to also talk to our customers about how they find using our CloudOps service and perform some general Account Management.

The feedback we have had from all customers has been great. The day proved a successful way to spend quality time with our clients in a fun, relaxed environment.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much driving in the afternoon due to heavy rain, but this gave the customers a good opportunity to speak to each other and network. The format of the day allowed everyone plenty of opportunity to chat and to get to know each other better, outside of the working environment with its associated distractions and prove that IG CloudOps, literally, goes the extra mile.

Tom Gullen commented, “Just a huge thank you for a brilliant day yesterday, was feeling quite burnt out the last few weeks so a day off was much welcome and was great to meet you all!  Please do pass my thanks on.  Not sure I mentioned it but moving to IG CloudOps has been a huge relief and we're super happy we took the decision to move to you (should have done it years ago!).  I have been very impressed with everyone!
