Syed Balkhi, founder of WPBeginner, wrote an article for the Huffington Post called ‘Why Choosing the Best Web Hosting Is Crucial for Your Business’. He gave a number of useful tips, but perhaps the most telling quote was this:
“Choosing a hosting provider solely on price is not worth the hassle and headaches if your site goes down.”
Balkhi’s point touches on what’s probably the most common issue for people buying hosting. Most of the time, the specs that you see listed for servers are pretty much the same across different providers. When faced with two options that look pretty much the same on the surface, most people will pick the cheaper. After all, websites will still look the same to visitors.
