UK-based SharePoint provider igroup ltd has carried out a SharePoint health-check for the Science & Technology Facilities Council. The analysis looked at an existing deployment of SharePoint used by the Science & Technology Facilities Council and provided a report detailing areas for improvement.
The Science & Technology Facilities Council is one of the UK’s seven publicly funded Research Councils responsible for supporting, coordinating and promoting research, innovation and skills development. It supports an academic community of around 1,700 in particle physics, nuclear physics, and astronomy including space science, working at more than 50 universities and research institutes in the UK, Europe, Japan and the United States.
