We have recently been working with The Peabody Trust on a project to transform their data capture methods for their surveyors. It essentially allows them to capture all their data requirements whilst on site which is fed back via GPRS to their database, it also means they can pull up technical drawings and job details whilst out on the road.
Peabody's ROI has come from the removal of the expense and or delay of double entry of the information back at the office. The potential savings in man-hours and wages meant there was a really powerful business case to drive the project.
