PDA is personal digital assistant, which are versatile in function. Small computers or palm top computers are other names of PDA. Mobile computing PDAs is used for calculation, clock, calendar, accessing internet, sending and receiving email, video recording, type writing, word processing etc. Advanced Mobile Computing PDAs have color screens and audio capabilities, allowing them to be used as mobile phones, web browsers or portable media players. These can access Intranet, Internet or extranets through Wi-Fi or Wireless Wide –Area Networks. PDAs generally have touch screen technology. Wide varieties of PDA upgrades are available for mobile computing. PDAs can synchronize data wirelessly with your Bluetooth – compatible notebook, which enables you to print, check mail and surf web through Bluetooth–compatible mobile phones. Palm tungsten T and T2 are newer PDAs with built-in Bluetooth. Pocket PC from Hewlett-_Packard’s Ipaq H220 is another device for upgrading PDAs. Pocket PC device also has built- in Bluetooth. Another device for upgrading is Wi-Fi., which is a polished device which can enable you to browse from anywhere
