The idea of a computer that could fit in the palm of your hand has been around since the Dick Tracy comic book series. Well, maybe not that long, but don't tell me if you lived before the technology of the cell phone was commonly available that you did not dream of having miniaturised wrist radios. We cannot wear computers on wrist yet and even if we could, getting data into one from a keyboard would be impractical, but we can find computers that will fit in the palm of our hand, also called palmtop PCs. Most of the time these are PDAs with slightly greater memory capacity, but the newest palmtop PCs are bringing back the keyboard and including the stylus. While the smaller notebook computer as not yet returns to Palmtop PCs, it is only a matter of time before we see the trend again.
