SharePoint Development Options
SharePoint provides a massive functionality out of the box. It has extensible features to enable custom development to take place, either using the SharePoint platform as a ready-built application layer or developing new web parts or extending existing functionality. This plays on igroup's strengths as a .NET development house.

 

Applications
Developing applications based on the SharePoint platform is something igroup has done for current customers with great success. We have the infrastructure to support the development, including TFS for work tracking, Cruise control for Continuous integration, Virtualisation for development environments and Test Driven Development.

 

Web Parts and Templates
If a full application is not required, customers will often require Web Parts and Templates. These can be delivered quickly and have allowed customers to test us in a low risk manner.

Custom Workflows
Workflows are an area within SharePoint that require creation by a developer. An organisation will not necessarily have this capability in-house and will look externally to fill this gap. Our experience in automating business process is often crucial to our customers.
